Description
My house backs onto a farm which has been sold to developers for over 1000 homes to be built on it. I'm trying to capture this beautiful view before they bulldoze it.

I love your style in your images! Love the expressions on the cows! So sorry about the development going on. Living by a farm is special! l/f

Such a wonderfully cheerful and carefree painting.....and such an ominous a dreadful title! Breaks my heart when I see trees just bulldozed down......vf

It must be painful to know that your wonderful backyard will be surrounded by "progress." This is a great tribute to the beauty that will soon be gone. I too love how whimsical this is.

Love the innocent and whimsical charm of this very colorful countryside painting. Very lovely work. As to the development....sigh, the world, people, and animals need green space...there is too much development going on.

Delightful! Your work is full of life and joy! Such a shame that this beautiful scene has to be "developed", but so good that you have captured its very essence for future generations!

Oiyee: Great paintings seem to flow from your heartfelt relationship to the land...I relate. Your style is unique and perhaps a good fit for children's books...which I have attempted myself. Very appealing. Waiting for even more from you like these.

Oiylee, I love your style! I wishI could do that! I always wanted to be an architect and detail always gets in my way! My art teachers always yelled at me, "Phyllis, loosen up!" "Just slap the paint on the canvas!" But I love what you do and think this was always my instinct!! Keep up the good work! ;-) These are the days I remember!
