The Heart Sutra expresses the Buddha's most profound teaching. One of the more well known verses of the Heart Sutra is: "form is emptiness and the very emptiness is form..." Even though I am not Buddhist, I find writing the Heart Sutra very calming. One slip of attention, I would get a character wrong and have to start over again. One needs a tranquil heart to do it.
This version is done in my running grass calligraphy.

Here is a line by line translation of the Heart Sutra:
觀自在菩薩，行深般若波羅蜜多時。
Avalokiteshvara, the Bodhisattva of Compassion, meditating deeply on Prajna Paramita,the Perfection of Transcendent Wisdom.
照見五蘊皆空，渡一切苦厄。
perceives that all five skandhas are empty, and is saved from all suffering and distress.
舍利子，
O Sariputra,
色不異空，空不異色，
Form is nothing more than emptiness,emptiness is nothing...
The two sides of me... My sumi paintings are essentially monochromatic. I find boundless freedom in expressing myself through different shades of black, white and grey. I love to use minimal strokes capturing the essence while leaving enough white space for the viewer's imagination.
