I painted this before Covid and titled it "Message Across The Ocean". Little did I know that it would be so fitting for these times. A friend sent me a package by air from Asia, but I only received it 2 months later. Turns out that international mail outside of N. America has switched from air to sea due to the closing of our Canadian border and reduced air transport.
Hopefully the situation improves and regular mail resumes. I got to learn to be thankful for what I have always taken for granted.
